The Cartier Fabergé was released in the early 1970s as part of the Collection Louis Cartier, alongside other models such as the Ceinture, Cristallor, and Bamboo. This collection marked a shift in Cartier’s watch design, with more experimental shapes and case styles compared to earlier decades.
The Fabergé model is made from 18K yellow gold and has a case that blends rectangular and tonneau (barrel) shapes. It measures 20 x 27mm and has rounded edges, giving it a softer outline. The design stands out for its compact size and unusual shape, which was typical of Cartier’s approach during that period.
The watch is in excellent condition. It features the classic Cartier design, with a white dial, black Roman numerals, blue sword-shaped hands, and the "Paris" signature at the 6 o’clock position. There is some light patina visible in a few areas, which is typical for watches from this era. It’s all original and adds a vintage character to the piece.
