The Cartier Santos was introduced in 1904 and set a new chapter in men's watches. It can be seen as one of the first wrist watches, which started the end of gentlemen wearing pocket watches. The Cartier Santos was invented by Louis Cartier, the design is very iconic because of the case shape and visible screws in the bezel.
This example we are offering to you is the reference 1575, it is executed in platinum which is a feature that we love. Ultra Thin is the nickname this piece carries, this refers to the case being very flat making it super elegant to wear. The hand wound movement is inspired on the famous FP21 movement, that is known to be super thin. The service dial has a very subtle guilloché finish while still maintaining the classic Cartier look. The watch is fitted on a blue leather strap with an original 18K white gold Cartier buckle.
