In 1969, astronaut Neil Armstrong first set foot on the surface of the moon wearing an Omega Speedmaster. The Speedmaster withstood the series of tests done by NASA in their process of selecting a proper watch to leave our globe. The Omega Speedmaster is therefore not only a watch, but a symbol for one of mankind's greatest achievements.
This Omega Speedmaster from 1994 we are presenting to you is the reference 3590, a beautiful example full of legacy. Powered by the hand wound chronograph caliber 861, it maintains the character of the original moons watch. On the case back, Omega referred to this achievement with the text "First watch worn on the moon". The tritium on the dial and in the hands has aged to a beautiful yellow tone, adding a lot of vintage charm to this collectible piece.
This Speedmaster is ready for a new owner and comes with the original card.
