Another special Datejust entered our store. In this case a Rolex Datejust 1603 Engine turned bezel with a Cream Buckley dial.
The dial is named after John Buckley, a watch dealer based in New York. John Buckley held a particular love for these painted Roman dials, and collectors subsequently adopted the name in his honor.
The "3" in the 1603 reference refers to the engine-turned bezel, crafted from stainless steel. Due to the steel bezel, it complements the dial more effectively, appearing less shiny compared to a fluted white gold bezel.
