The Air-King is interesting in every way. There is so much variety in the Air-King models, and its history is not only important, but filled with many interesting stories.
The Air-King was based on the Oyster Perpetual which was very successful during the 1930’s but it was configurated with a new dial and name. Since many fighter pilots were already wearing an oyster perpetual, rebranding an existing watch would be a smart move. On the first advertisements it even said “Air-King, the new Rolex Oyster perpetual”. If that’s not quirky enough, Rolex officially released the Air-King in 1958 even though it had been produced and sold to the public for over a decade already whilst being introduced in 1946.
This Air-king is in beautiful condition and comes with a blue dial and as a watch only.

We make use of well-known shipping companies which deliver you package insured. We do not ship the package on Fridays to preserve weekend.
