Probably one of the least known models from Rolex, but this will definitely change. The history of the Turn-O-Graph or so called ‘Thunderbird’ is super interesting.

The Datejust Turn-O-Graph or Thunderbird, developed for and worn by the U.S. Airforce Thunderbirds. An official military watch that was not only Rolex’s first pilot watch but also the first Rolex tool watch and the first series-produced Rolex with a rotating bezel.

The history of this model isn’t the only thing that is interesting, its design characteristic is unique and cool. This particular example is even a step further than a regular Turn-O-Graph.

This example is crafted in two materials, stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold. The 18ct bezel is obviously the star of the show which is simply stunning and a perfect combination with the full-gold champagne dial.

The condition of this timepiece speaks for itself. The two-tone bracelet shows minimal stretch, the case is very thick and the dial is spotless.
