The 1803 is a watch we always enjoy having in our collection. The variations within this reference are remarkable and demonstrate the commitment to craftsmanship that Rolex displayed as early as the 1960s.
This particular Day-Date from 1978 is a very understated one, this because of the 18K white gold case. This model is most often seen in yellow gold, wearing this example is truly modest. Through the plexi crystal we see a beautiful silver pie-pan dial, which in our opinion is one of the best colors to match it's appeal. The markers at the 6 and 9 o'clock position are called doorstop, this refers to the sloping design which reflects light beautifully.
This timepiece is fitted on a navy leather strap and comes with an original Rolex buckle. It comes as a Watch Only.
