THE PARTY PRESIDENT
The Rolex Day-Date reference 1803 is a watch we always enjoy having in our collection. Back in the 1950s when this watch was released it was a very complicated and luxury watch, this because of the automatic movement that could display the day and date at the same time. The Day-Date is always executed in precious metals such as gold and platinum.
This particular timepiece is made out of 18K yellow gold, in which this model is most recognizable. The legendary reference 1803 has a pie-pan dial, meaning that the minute track is slightly lower than the rest of the dial giving beautiful depth when looking at it. The dial itself is very rare. From a distance you'd think it is just a brown dial, but in fact it is a confetti dial referring to the high amount of speckles on the face.
This true vintage example is ready to be enjoyed!
