The modern sapphire crystal and glossy black dial with white gold hour marker surroundings are combined with the vintage aluminum bezel. Robustness from a modern piece, with some vintage character. The design of the Rolex Submariner dates back to the 1950s when Rolex created a revolutionary timepiece meant for diving. An automatic robust tool watch, that later became one of the most recognizable timepieces ever made. Original examples of the first Submariners did not feature a date window at the 3 o'clock position, this was introduced in the 1960s under the reference 1680.

This particular Rolex Submariner reference 16610 from 2007 is the perfect watch for everyday wear. The 40mm measuring Oyster case and Oyster bracelet are made out of 904L stainless steel, a very robust material that does not corrode. Combined with the black dial and bezel it is super versatile.
