In the late 1960s, Rolex introduced the first Submariner model to feature a date function, a groundbreaking move for the brand. This specific reference, the 1680, is the actual first series of this iconic dive watch to feature a date window at the 3 o'clock position. 

And fortunately for you, we have one in great condition. The dial remains in original condition, showcasing the characteristics that make this Submariner so special. Seen through a plexi crystal, this matte dial has beautifully aged tritium plots which adds a lot to it's vintage charm.

The bracelet has been replaced with a newer version. Despite the replacement, the watch still retains much of its original character and sporty appeal.
