As the name suggests, the dial is hidden behind shutters which can be operated by a sapphire cabochon button at the 6 o'clock position. The original design dates back to the 1930s, but it was reissued in the 1990s as part of the 'Les Historiques' collection.
The manual wind Vacheron Constantin movement is housed in a Rose Gold case. It behind the Jalousie is a beautiful white dial with charming blued hands and an off-center seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position. This piece is fitted on a leather strap and has the original Vacheron Constantin buckle.
